[Tokyo] Koishikawa Korakuen 

 

  Hi, I'm onedaytrip. Today, I'll guide you Koishikawa Korakuen Garden. Koishikawa Korakuen Garden is a historic place, So before we get started, I want to let you all know the history of Koishikawa Korakuen Garden.

 Kōraku-en (後楽園 Kōrakuen) is a Japanese garden located in Okayama, Okayama Prefecture. It is one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan, along with Kenroku-en and Kairaku-en. 

Korakuen was built in 1700 by Ikeda Tsunamasa, lord of Okayama. The garden reached its modern form in 1863.

MitsukunI made a garden with Chinese Ming motifs, modeled after Chinese Ming and Sikotsumi. 

Also, one can experience Japanese scenery and rivers in one place by reducing the scenic beauty of Japan.

Gorakuen, surrounded by a large pond, surrounded by a large pond and woods, looks like a small garden, but when you enter a garden, you can see a wide variety of forest trees.

 This is the real entrance of Korakuen Park. Before getting in, You will be able to get a Guide phamplet or meet a person who guides in English or Japanese.
